Register for the NASW Ohio Conference on November 12th and 13th in Columbus to attend many great workshops, such as Region 2 Co-director Renee Leber sharing her knowledge on how to help us all be better social workers in our spaces. Come participate in our great community of people, connections, and resources to walk away refreshed and aligned with the reasons we entered the social work field. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™

Social workers are trained to navigate the intersection of people, systems, policy, and organizational culture, yet their perspectives are often absent from leadership and decision-making. This workshop explores the role of social workers as organizational translators who bridge competing priorities while upholding professional values.

Presented by Renee Leber, LISW-S, CSWM, this workshop is one of many unique sessions available at the 2026 Annual Social Work Conference!

What a wonderful day at the Akron Pride March! ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ

It was an honor to represent NASW Ohio Region 2 and stand alongside our community in support, solidarity, and celebration.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and marched with us. You made the day so much fun! And thank you to everyone along the route who waved, cheered, clapped, and encouraged us as we walked. We felt the love every step of the way! โค๏ธ

Social workers believe in the dignity and worth of every person, and today was a beautiful reminder of what it looks like when a community comes together to support one another.

Thank you, Akron, for an amazing Pride! We had an absolute blast! ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ
