Great news! The government has officially reopened.

That said, while government agencies are operational again, it may take time for them to catch up and get back to normal. There's a bit of a backlog, so some processes might run slower than usual for the next few weeks.

Here's what this means for you and your clients:

✅ USDA & HUD 184 Loans: Processing and funding have resumed. We're actively moving files forward and working to get everything back on track as quickly as possible.

✅ Flood Insurance: Federal flood insurance policies are once again being processed, so any transactions that were on hold due to insurance issues can now proceed.

✅ SSA Verifications: Social Security Administration services are back online, so identity verifications are moving forward without delay.

As always, our team at Flat Branch is fully engaged and working hard to make up for lost time. If you had any deals impacted by the shutdown, please reach out. We're prioritizing those files and doing everything we can to expedite closings.
