D Co Spotlight of the week! This weeks spotlight goes to one of our new fish, Mr. Steglich. We are so excited to have you on board of Delta Company and cannot wait to have everyone meet you either.
“My name is Kohl Steglich, and I am a former United States Army 11B Infantry Sergeant. After completing Infantry OSUT at Ft. Benning, Georgia, I was assigned to the United States Army Old Guard in Washington, D.C., for the remainder of my four and a half years of active-duty service. During my time with the Old Guard, I participated in over 1,400 burials as a member of a full honors firing party, an experience that left me deeply moved. I had the honor of participating in the funerals of George H.W. Bush, Collin Powell, and Donald Rumsfeld. I also had the privilege of participating in the presidential inauguration of President Joseph R. Biden, as well as numerous wreath-laying ceremonies at the tomb of the unknown soldier.
Transitioning, I'm now pursuing a Business Degree at Texas A&M University's Mays Business School, following in my family's footsteps for three generations. From upholding a legacy of honor and service in the Army to embracing the Aggie spirit, I'm committed to applying the values of integrity, discipline, and perseverance to my academic and future professional journey.”
