Freezin for a Reason We are a grass roots effort to raise funds for the Town of Colchester Fuel Bank. Too many people are forced to choose between heat and medication.

Many thanks to all of the people who came out to donate and donated online to FFAR 2026.
This year we raised $14,566.31, for a 17-year total of $206,612.33.
I don't know about you, but we're AMAZED!

Freezin’ for a Reason only has one more night out in this weather, supporting people who are forced to keep their homes at 58 degrees. We shiver just thinking about it. ❄️

While most people are celebrating Friday by heading somewhere warm, we’re heading to the Colchester Green to do the exact opposite — camping out in the cold for Freezin’ for a Reason. ⛺❄️

Join us Friday, February 13th at 2PM through Sunday, February 15th at noon. Stop by, say hello, laugh at our questionable winter decision-making, and most importantly help us keep local families warm. Many people in our community simply cannot afford to properly heat their homes, and every donation makes a real difference.
