For three decades the teen years have been my primary focus as an educator. This spring I have been blessed teaching pre k and quickly I’ve learned that so many of the struggles that students have are parallel to our humanity and need to feel valued, seen, and appreciated. Whether you are helping your child who is 3, 13, or even 30 - there is value in teaching the underlying concepts in this creative and funny book. No one is always the unicorn, and we are all the horse. Finding balance and regulating the green monster of jealousy that naturally creeps in to our lives will open so many doors for healthy relationships!

Sometimes our goal of making every moment of our children’s lives perfect we miss the mark on guiding them through the realities and challenges of day to day life. Seek and reward your children for implementing tools for self soothing, self reflection, self advocacy and resilience!
