I don't know about anybody else, but these cell phone companies' rates are getting out of hand. Then your bills are increasing every month without explanation.
I, myself, recall being with sprint for 10+ years. And my bills started in the high $100's, as time progressed, my bills were in the $200's, and then the $300's, $400's, $500's and one day I ended up with a $2000+ bill (for phones that were returned, in their packaging, back to their facility). Thank God, I kept the tracking receipts. It was heel on wheels every month trying to get an explanation as to why my bill was one amount this month and the next month the bill had increased by $100+ dollars. Numerous FTC complaints regarding my account, helped somewhat. But I was spending countless hours trying to get my account resolved. I'd had sooooo many issues with Sprint, that at this point NO ONE within Sprint was ALLOWED to touch my account. I had my own PERSONAL, DEDICATED, Consumer Affairs Supervisor that handled my account.
The Scams were REAL!!
I understand that most don't have the time to sit on hold for hours at a time, get a rep that can't provide an answer, escalate the call, get hung up on, call back to wash and repeat. So you eventually end of letting the account go, BECAUSE IT'S EASIER.
But damn, it then hits your credit, now your screwed twice over.
Don't let this be you, when YOU have OPTIONS!!!
