Not me owning up that I almost forgot to do this. Social Media is hard for me. While it might seem like education based. Usually it is evaluated on job prospect which is fancy for "likelihood of making money for the career tied to this". So I wanna know especially in this day and age of AI... College or trade school? And if neither is your cup of tea tell me why. I know there are other pathways but why in particular do these two feel like a no for you?

Ok this is a work in progress. It took me 1.5 hours to script, film, edit, publish, and make graphics for like a 10.5 minute video. But that is a HUGE improvement. It used to take me days. It is about conversations people have and don't realize is potentially tied to money. Cause guess what?

We talk about money daily.

Do you tell them? Change the subject? Pretend you didn't hear them?

Money conversations with family can get awkward, especially when someone keeps asking a question you're not sure you want to answer.

Here's the thing: You can be comfortable talking about money AND still have boundaries around what you share.

Not sure what to say? Try one of these:

🌱 Gentle: "We're really happy with our decision! I'd rather not get into the numbers, though."

🌿 Clear: "We're keeping the purchase price private, but I'd be happy to talk about what we learned during the buying process."

🌳 Direct: "I've mentioned that I'm not comfortable sharing that. Please stop asking."

A few things to remember:

✨ You don't owe someone financial details just because they're family.

✨ Curiosity isn't automatically judgment. Sometimes people are genuinely trying to learn!

✨ If someone keeps pushing, you don't have to keep coming up with new explanations. Repeating your boundary is enough.

And if you WANT to share what you paid? That's perfectly fine, too!

Money confidence isn't about sharing everything. It's about feeling comfortable deciding what you want to share.

Just got back from the smokey mountains with the kids. Had a good time. Reels with me in them coming back soon. But in all seriousness go out and enjoy some nature!

There is power in not feeling isolated. Shame makes us think we are the only ones. But that isn't true. You are not alone. Lots of us are working on our money stories. It is ok to admit you are a work in progress cause guess what? We all are!

Look I don't know much about astrology, but people have been telling me that times are rough and tough right now. There is a lot of change going on. And that is ok. I just want y'all to know you are not alone. And there are people out there to help or just listen.
