Today I went to Bulfinch Taphouse and Bistro for a project and Dave treated me to some of their seasonal cocktails, made by the fabulous Dylan.

1 - Flash of Genius
This seasonal margarita is made with Casamigos tequila, agave nectar, lime juice, triple sec, and hibiscus & peach flavors

2 - Scroll of Tongues
A refreshing concoction of Lock 1 Distilling Company’s Drawbridge Gin with pear, honey, cardamom, and lemon

3 - Aspect of the Moon
Bulfinch’s take on an espresso martini, this cocktail is made with Tito's Handmade Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream, Kahlúa, espresso, and maple syrup with a maple sugar rim

We’ve always known that Bullfinch Brewpub (Destiny Mall) makes delicious b**r, but their seasonal cocktails are on point at both locations! And yes, I enjoyed a tall glass of the Hex Hefe while I was there 😋

When your Pokémon-obsessed friends from Memphis come to town for your friends’ wedding, you take them to your favorite coffee shop in Rochester! Even better, just a few days before our visit, 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐧 | 🪴𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫 + 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 posted that one of their baristas, Nat, loved creating Pokémon latte art when they weren’t busy. PERFECT.

Lucky for us, Nat had just come back from break and they weren’t too busy so she had time to create us the perfect lattes topped with Togepi and Eevee ❤️

Yesterday was Josh’s birthday, and we were so busy celebrating I forgot to make a post for him! Allllll the fall things for ! Fall is definitely my favorite season for delicious coffees and lattes - here are a few of my favorite current specials, as well as several of my go-to places for a caffeine fix ☕️

Where is your favorite local place to get a PSL or other seasonal drink?



Olives Eatery has a special Gilmore Girls menu, including “Pancakes at Luke’s”, “The Lorelai”, and “The Rory”. Plus they have lotus teas: “The Yale Dropout”, “The Dragonfly Inn”, and “Back at Chilton”. And don’t forget the smoothies: Team Dean, Team Jess, and Team Logan!

On Saturday my friend saw a post for the espresso martini flight at Brians Landing- Jamesville - on Sunday morning, we enjoyed said flight 😅

It is definitely sized (and priced) to share, but it is every bit delicious! The flavors are: Original, Creamy, Apple Cinnamon, and Maple Butterscotch.

Recess Coffee is always a good idea ❤️

I still think about this summer special from Pawsitivitea CNY - but honestly, all of Alisha’s specials are amazing. Homemade and vegan friendly!

My year-round go-to? The Freddie Purrcury 🐈

I love a good cereal milk latte, and this Cocoa Puff latte at Rise N Shine ™️ was top notch.

A crème brûlée latte?! Say less 🤩 This delightful drink can be found at CAKE BAR

If I could have one wish, it would be to have 114 Reserve be closer to my house ☕️

One of downtown’s newest additions? Pausa Coffee || Syracuse, NY Coffee Shop - providing cozy vibes and delicious drinks ☕️

Spooky Season is officially upon us with the opening night of Frightmare Farms Scream Park 💀😈👻

I’ve been a huge fan of Frightmare since it first opened, but this year they invited me to see a little more behind the scenes as an official - getting to be the first to experience many of their main attractions for their 15th season.

After visiting Halloween Horror Nights last year, I can truly say that nowhere in New York compares as much as Frightmare. In addition to the main attractions - the estate, the labyrinth, the trail, and the hayride - there is roaming entertainment, a movie screen, campfires, shops, and concessions. Truly something for everyone.

My favorite part about this year? The opening scare-a-monies with the running of the monsters. It truly encapsulates just how much work and how many people go into making Frightmare as incredible as it is.

Now that I’ve had some time to catch my breath, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you who made this year’s Stay Strong Community Day such a success! It may not have been the most money we raised, but it definitely had the best overall vibe of any year, and the community support was clearly shown. Together we raised OVER $5,000! 💜🩵

First off, thank you to all my friends and family members who jumped in to help throughout the day, as I always try to run everything by myself and yet always have too much on my plate. I see you and I appreciate you all!

Thank you to Willow Rock Brewing Company for hosting, Blue Moon Apothecary for leading yoga with Tommy Valletta, CNY Cat Coalition for bringing the cat therapy, Samarra LaVere from Saturn Tattoo for the tattoos, Caleb Liber for providing the music, and Greater Central NY Chapter Branches Of Growth Counseling and Thumbwalker for bringing the mental health resources.

When it comes to brews with views, this one is hard to beat! 😍

Aurora Brewing Co's original King Ferry location has one of the most gorgeous views in the Finger Lakes. From the deck, you'll overlook miles of hay fields, vineyards, old growth trees, and the banks of Cayuga Lake. 🌊

Their flagship is a double dry hopped juicy hazy IPA and the foundation of the whole Aurora b**r program. Pair a pint of Fresh to Death with one of their Detroit style pizzas. 🍺🍕

The vibe is laid back and rural and live music is a regular thing here. 🎶
