The process of obtaining insurance is personal. Too often, it’s been approached as very transactional.

My question is, what happened to wanting to have that 1 to 1 connection?

When a client needs to understand their policy and coverage options, they shouldn’t be directed to just read the policy… That’s the opportunity for the Agent to capitalize on the personal connection and educate.

Since Covid we’ve lost that desire to want to connect with one another. Especially pertaining to something so personal and important such as insurance. That’s another way to build referrals.

Be personable. Interact. Reach out. Don’t be afraid to do so. Otherwise, your business will suffocate from your own inability to regain that personal connection with those who can provide referrals along with feeding your social engine. Be great today. At least choose to be!
