Don't be part of the problem... Be part of the solution

Violence and crime in society impacts us all. We all know someone who has fallen victim to a crime or violence. Whether it is a family member, colleague, friend or even yourself. Have you ever thought about what chain of events, how specific they had to be, for you or whoever, to cross paths with the perpetrator on that day at that time? On your side, maybe if you would have changed your shirt before you left the house, or took 5 minutes longer to put on your makeup, or parked your car at the other end of the parking lot, would have made the difference between you getting robbed at gunpoint or going about your day without incident.
On the criminals side it is a lot more complicated than a casual action on a random day that that determines whether or not they are one day facing you with a pistol or a prospectus. That one moment in time when someone you know is looking down the wrong end of a barrel began years ago and led to this point. It was a journey of bad choices, zero quality mentor-ship, poor education, abuse whether physical or psychological including drugs and alcohol, hopeless environments, isolation from good employment options and thoughtful life choices, along with violence perpetrated upon them.
We all know that no one of us can address all of these problems at once but if we don't begin to chip away somewhere and stand by idly as if it is not our problem to solve, chances are everyone of us is sure to face the violence of our neglect at some point in our lives. Some of us closer and more tragically than others.
Invention Intention 3rd Dimension aims to address the challenges of quality mentor-ship, isolation from good employment options and thoughtful life choices. Woven throughout our 3D curriculum we teach team building skills, how to analyze situations and make better decisions, conflict resolution and problem solving. We demonstrate how broadening one's skills multiplies their life's options.
We know that we can not get to everyone but everyone we get to counts! This is not a cure all end all but it is a proven solution. We have to work together if we are to impact societal ills and this is where ii3D is working to our maximum capacity but we need your help. Don't stand idly by. You don't have to do the work. Pledge to our campaign and let us do the work. We have the collaborative partners, we have the space, we have the outreach, we have the committed team. We don't have the money for the equipment. Once we raise this money, we have corporations lined up to take us to the next level. However, if we don't raise it here, they will look at is as if no one cares about this and will support other things like basketball camps reinforcing to our children that sports and entertainment are their only value in society and those careers are the only way out of poverty.
