Meet this month's employee spotlight, Loan Officer Jeff Widmeyer! 🥳
Jeff has been with Gershman Mortgage for 2 years and can be found at our Springfield, Missouri branch. He and his wife Sharon have been married 35 years and are the proud parents of two sons: Bryce, who works as a site superintendent for a local commercial contractor, and Parker, who is an engineer for SpaceX. Safe to say Jeff is one proud dad.
When he isn't working, you'll find Jeff and Sharon cheering on the Cardinals, making their annual trip to a Dallas Cowboys game, sweating it out at HOTWORX, or recharging on the beaches of St. Pete's, Florida.
We asked Jeff his most controversial food opinion and he did not hold back: "Every meal needs protein! Chicken or turkey with BBQ sauce goes a long way. And it's okay to put BBQ on your salad." Honestly? We respect it.
Here's what Marketing Director Kate Wilson had to say about working with him:
"He was the missing piece to the puzzle in our office. He's a team player, always wants to help solve a problem, and the level of care he provides to his clients is something I don't see all the time. One of my favorite memories of Jeff is when we were at the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors golf tournament last summer, and he had a pair of shoes and lost the sole of one of them out on the golf course, so someone had to bring him another pair. The running joke ever since is that Jeff lost his soul on the course! He's not only awesome to work with, but just an awesome person to know." — Kate Wilson, Marketing Director, SWMO
