Once the home of Chelsea, Michigan's most famous citizen, the Queen Anne style house had spent decades divided into apartments before being restored as a single-family home. The restoration was done in phases. These images show the dramatic difference made by reopening and restoring the porch that had been enclosed to make an apartment in the 1970s.
