I get so many damn notifications on my phone that none of them are important anymore.

I decided to go through and clean some of them up, but that takes forever, removing permission one app at a time....

The next step is going to be an app that I let me AI go through and remove all of the notifications and give me a quick summary in my texts.

After setting up my personal assistant to replace my voicemail, I can't go back. I never miss a call anymore, and I don't even answer it unless I want to lol.

I love getting the little text from my AI assistant giving me a summary of who called, what message they wanted to leave me all organized... and if I want to call them back, I just have to click it and go.

This removed my reasons for procrastination too. There is no excuse when it is right in front of me and I only check messages from my assistant when I am ready to respond, knowing they have all been vetted and it is something I need to take action on...

I even started changing when and how I look at notifications. I go through the texts as they come in just to make sure it isn't urgent and as I have time to look deeper I take action.

The cool part is that my AI marks them as URGENT, Needs Attention Soon, and follow up. I can quickly look to see if i need to address it now, or if it can wait.

You want to know your real value?

Create an SOP (Standard operating Procedure) for the tasks you do on the daily.

I just created an SOP for a new process so I can pass it to my team and holy s**t...

I just realized not only do I need to give access to systems my team does not have access to, they will have to learn a few things in order to do it. This means I also have to create a training for my team.

I have been doing this onboarding FREE for my clients beta testing the system, and this is also how I decide how much to charge for the onboarding fee.

Right now, this SOP literally takes 274 steps, and requires my team to log into 4 different systems, 1 of which they have to log into twice, once under our account, another under the clients account.

It takes me less than 30 minutes to do this, but I can tell you as my team learns how to do it, it will take at least 1.5 hours + for them to do it until they get comfortable with it.

As a business owner, without this SOP, I would be running at a level of chaos that would have us under pricing, or even giving bad expectation to our clients. On top of that, I would not have known there is an education aspect other than the SOP that I would have to create for my team.

Too many businesses are not creating quality SOPs that allow them to delegate the tasks and they expect it to be done regardless. This becomes a money pit for a business.

The floodwaters came without warning, transforming your peaceful mountain community into a raging torrent.
