Protect Yourself from Medicare Scams 🚨
If someone you don't know calls, texts, or emails offering free medical equipment or services, be cautious. Don't share your Medicare number or personal information.
Remember:
✅ Only you and your doctor should decide what care and services you need.
✅ Medicare will not call you out of the blue asking for your Medicare number.
✅ Hang up on suspicious calls and delete suspicious messages.
Scammers may use your Medicare information to bill for services you never requested.
⚠️ Hospice scams can be especially serious. If you're enrolled in hospice without your knowledge, it could affect your access to regular Medicare benefits.
Stay informed. Stay protected. 💙
