We will forever appreciate all of the relationships built through our chambers of commerce!
📣Business Spotlight with Real Merchant Services - Luke & Amber Edmonds 💳
1. Tell us about yourself and your business.
My name is Amber Edmonds, and I’m a local business owner and partner with Real Merchant Services. I work alongside my husband to help business owners eliminate unnecessary and predatory credit card processing fees by providing transparent, contract free payment solutions.
What makes what I do different is that I don’t just “set up processing. I build relationships. My clients have direct access to me. When something needs attention, they call my cell phone, not a 1-800 number.
I’m passionate about helping local businesses keep more of what they earn while knowing they have someone in their corner who truly cares about their success
2. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned since starting your business that other business owners should know?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is this: integrity compounds.
In an industry that can be confusing and often lacks transparency, choosing to lead with honesty (even when it’s not the easiest path) builds long-term trust. And trust builds sustainable growth.
Business isn’t just about transactions. It’s about reputation. If you protect your reputation and always act in your client’s best interest, growth follows naturally.
3. What sets your business apart, and how have community connections (including the Chamber) helped you grow?
What sets my business apart is simple: no contracts, no termination fees, and direct personal support. If I can’t earn and keep someone’s business through service and results, I don’t deserve it.
Community connections have been instrumental. When I first started, I knew very few people. This community welcomed me with open arms. The Chamber has given me opportunities to build real relationships, collaborate with other business owners, and serve in ways that go far beyond just processing payments.
Growth has come from connection, not cold transactions.
4. What’s one thing you wish the community knew about your business?
I wish more business owners knew they didn’t have to feel stuck.
Many business owners assume processing fees are just “the cost of doing business” or that switching is complicated and risky. In reality, there are transparent options that can significantly reduce or even eliminate those fees, without contracts.
You deserve clarity. You deserve options. And you deserve someone who will advocate for your business, not just sell you a rate.
5. How has networking with other Chamber members opened new opportunities for you?
Networking within the Chamber has created referral partnerships, collaborative opportunities, and lifelong friendships.
More importantly, it has allowed me to understand the real challenges local businesses face. Those conversations help me serve better, customize solutions, and connect business owners with one another when I see opportunities for collaboration. It’s not just networking; it’s building an ecosystem where everyone wins.
6. What advice would you give to a new business considering joining the Chamber?
Don’t join just to hand out business cards. Join to serve. Show up consistently. Attend events. Ask questions. Look for ways to support other members before asking for anything in return.
The Chamber isn’t just a marketing tool; it’s a relationship builder. And if you approach it with authenticity and consistency, it can become one of the most valuable investments you make in your business.
