Capital Area Modern Quilt Guild

Capital Area Modern Quilt Guild CAMQG is a branch of The Modern Quilt Guild with members from Harrisburg, PA and surrounding areas.

We are a group of both new and experienced modern quilters and sewists who come together on a regular basis to learn, share, sew, and give back.

The Camp Hill School district is closed so we have cancelled tonight's CAMQG meeting. We will meet instead this coming Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2pm at the Camp Hill Giant Center in Camp Hill. If you do have to travel today, be safe!

For September’s meeting bring two different bingo boards. To play donate a fat quarter or equivalent scraps. Winner takes the pot. We’ll play as many games as we can, but not more than 5 games.

Instructions: To prepare for the Bingo game, you’ll have to gather fabric from your stash, cut them into 2 ½” squares and sew them together into a Bingo.

5- (2 ½”) squares of assorted yellow/orange prints
5- (2 ½”) squares of assorted red prints
5- (2 ½”) squares of assorted blue prints
5- (2 ½”) squares of assorted green prints
5- (2 ½”) squares of assorted pink/purple prints
Each fabric must be chosen from one of the following categories:
Batik, floral, geometric, heart, leaf, metallic, novelty, paisley, plaid, solid, star, stripe, dots, and ombre.

The center square is black.
