Festival of the Pines CHILI Cookoff will take place on Saturday, Sept. 18th from 1-3pm in the beverage tent downtown Lake City. Accepting entries for the best chili. Bragging rights and ribbons will be award for the top 3 people choices. Open to businesses, restaurants and individuals.

Seeking Chamber Board of Directors
The Lake City Area Chamber of Commerce seeks applications from those interested in serving as a member of the organization's Board of Directors. Three seats are available and those selected will serve a three-year term beginning October of 2021.

Those interested in serving on the Board of Directors are expected to: Attend monthly meetings, Engage in committee work, Attend Chamber functions when available and Serve as an ambassador for the organization and the business community-at-large.

Applications will be placed on a ballot for a vote by the full Chamber membership in Mid-September. All applications must be received by Friday, September 3rd for consideration. Any additional questions about the process and duties required may be directed to Andrea Martin, President, by emailing [email protected] or calling the Chamber directly at 231 839-4969. Your short personal and business bio is to include your vision of what you would like to see the Chamber do in the next years.
