This beautiful girl is Loki. She is 3 yrs of age, and she was a surrender to the shelter due to her owner moving out of Country. It was a bit stressful for her when she arrived at the shelter. She has settled into her temporary life but she is
ready to find her furever home.

Loki has a lovely black shiny coat, adorable pointy ears and has many characteristics of her breed. She might give a bark or two when meeting some new peeps but warms up once introduced properly and she feels comfortable and trusting. This breed is known to have a protective side, and although she has done good meeting folks at the shelter, it is part of who she is.

Loki knows sit, down, paw and on her profile states she has received training. She absolutely loves tug games, and also has played fetch with a ball. Her profile states she is crate trained and housebroken but an adjustment time is needed once she finds her new home, and new routine.

Loki is on special food /medication for her kidneys. Her new person will have to understand this is a life long commitment. She does love treats, and there are plenty of good options out there for treats that are good for her. This along with exercise, proper weight management will help Loki live a good life.

She did good in her introduction to other dogs in the yard, but seemed to want to co exist, and exhibited she needed time to adjust. A meet /greet would be needed with any resident dog to make sure it is a good fit. She also might like to venture into a home as an only dog to start so she can settle in.

We are looking for a person who has breed experience and will understand what Loki needs in her life. She really is a lovely dog that enjoys pets of praise, and gets excited to go outside, and will make a wonderful companion. She is also spayed. If you can give Loki that new chance to start again, email [email protected] for questions, and to set up a chance to meet her.
