This semester's project will focus on assisting local non-profit, Profugo, by assessing the impact and implementation of micro-finance and micro-insurance at their field site in South India. Summer Internship Panel Tonight (Mon) 9pm!

Big Hill Entrepreneurial Fund is hosting our first Summer Internship Panel on Monday, September 14th from 9-10pm in Dalton 25. We have invited BMC students of all years to discuss their school-year and summer internship experiences in the fields of microfinance, social entrepreneurship, and development. Following a moderated panel, we will open up the floor to Q&A for students to ask their own questions.

We are partnering with The Welcoming Center of New Pennsylvanians for their newest program - Philly Tech Ambassadors. This initiative connects university students with Philly’s small businesses. Students will get a chance to teach small businesses on how to gain more online presence, become visible on Google Search and Maps, build websites, and use social media to promote their business. Bryn Mawr Entrepreneur (BME) is excited to announce that the Executive Board Application for next year is now open! For the coming year, we will focus on the development of Big Hill Entrepreneurial Fund, Bryn Mawr's campus microfinance institution founded by BME. Current openings are Chief Credit Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. The term is one year (preferred) or one semester. Officers are selected by appointment.

The application deadline is 11 pm, Wednesday, April 1. Tentatively, interviews will be on April 3-5.
