How Low Can You Go Challenge? Energy Reduction This initiative challenges schools to find innovative ways to reduce energy/water consumption at each campus over a 3 month period. How Low Can You Go?

This initiative challenges South Florida Schools to find innovative ways to reduce energy, water and waste at each campus. We partnered up with the Miami Heat since 2012.The Heat encourage schools to participate and rise to the challenge of reducing their environmental impact. GOAL
The initiative will raise environmental awareness of the effects on the environment of CO2 emissions as well as educat

e the facilities to potential financial savings through responsible energy consumption. Curtailing wasteful spending on unnecessary energy, water and food waste consumption has the added benefit of allowing schools to allocate those saved dollars to under-funded programs.
