THIS is why you SHOULDN’T close your credit cards!

History makes up 15% of your credit score. That’s way more than you think. Closing your card HURTS your score because you lose all the history attached to it. So you should never close cards OR delete accounts that have been open for a long time.

This includes: STUDENT LOANS especially if they are in good standing. A lot of my clients want to remove their perfectly fine student loans and I won’t let you RUIN your score 🙌🏽

But Here’s a secret. You can send 100 letters and NO ONE will read them. The bureaus get thousands of letters a day. It’s impossible for them to read it all. The letters go through a system called E-Oscar that marks your letters verified, deleted or frivolous. The letters you find online are so overused and outdated e-Oscar marks them verified immediately and you get ZERO DELETIONS.

The letters you PAID for, everyone paid for. The letters you saw on YouTube, everyone saw.

So Then what? When you receive a letter back saying you got no deletions and to Try again 🤡

Then what?

DONT start paying off or working on any collections till you talk to me. A PAID collection hurts your score the same way a unpaid collection does.
