Edward Jones-Financial Advisor Kyle Canida

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor Kyle Canida Member SIPC. Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I served in law enforcement from 2001 to my retirement in 2022.

I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community. I developed my love of service from my background in the military (Army Infantry) and law enforcement. I worked for the Stillwater Police Department, worked as an International Police Advisor in Afghanistan and lastly, worked with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics from 2008 unt

il my retirement in 2022. I have a bachelor's degree in counseling/business and Master of Science in criminal justice/administrative leadership. I was introduced to investing by my grandparents and have always been interested in the financial services industry. Upon my retirement from law enforcement, I decided to continue with my passion for helping others and was proudly selected to work as an Edward Jones financial advisor. I am married to a wonderful wife and mother, who works as a Director of Veterinary Quality for Banfield. I have a 6-year-old (who keeps me young at heart) as well as an older son who is married and currently serving on active duty in the Army. We live in Broken Arrow, OK and I love to spend time with family and friends, travel, read, work out, fly fish for anything, kayak or canoe, scuba dive, hike, hunt and do most anything else outdoors. At Edward Jones, we strive to make sure clients feel heard, and that we understand their unique story. We also work to help clients understand the investment world in terms they can relate to. I would love the opportunity to serve you.

Even though 32% of Americans experience are financially stressed and money is a constant source of pressure, 73% are using the internet as a source of financial advice, and largely managing their finances alone. This is where a financial advisor can make a difference. Research shows that financially fulfilled adults are 4.3x more likely to work with a financial advisor compared to financially stressed adults.

If financial stress is something you’re dealing with on your own, you don’t have to. Let’s talk through where you are and where you want to go.

After months of expected interest rate cuts, the Federal Reserve is shifting its focus back to managing inflation. This "higher-for-longer" interest rate environment may present compelling opportunities in short-term fixed income, while equities can continue to be supported by strong and broadening earnings growth. Brian Therien, Investment Strategist, explains what this could mean for investors in our Weekly Market Wrap.

Caregiving touches every part of life, including finances.

For families supporting someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia, the emotional and financial responsibilities often grow over time.

As a financial advisor, I help caregivers navigate the financial side—planning for care costs, organizing resources and easing some of the burden—so they can focus on caring for the person they love.
