Recently I had one of those calls that started with a loud, unexpected: “Whoa!!!! Are you kidding me?!”I paused—because “whoa” can go either way—then asked, “Okay… good whoa or bad whoa? ”They laughed. “Good whoa! ”Then they told me the part that hit harder: their insurance had climbed so much they felt forced to drop their umbrella coverage just to keep the main policy. That’s actually a decision a lot of people face: Do I cut protection to afford it… or is there a smarter path? So we took a step back, reviewed everything, and built a plan that fit their budget and added that extra layer of protection back in—and they still came out paying much less overall!
