Something to Think About:
During a meeting with a client recently, we discussed life insurance. She admitted it was something she had never really thought deeply about before, especially how not having coverage could affect the people she loves most.
So I asked her a simple question:
“How long could your family survive without your income?”
That question stopped her for a moment.
Now I want you to ask yourself the same thing.
Really think about it. Do the math.
For example:
If you bring in $4,000 a month, that’s about $48,000 a year your family would need just to stay afloat financially if something happened to you.
And that’s before funeral expenses.
A service and burial alone can easily cost $15,000–$20,000 or more.
Do you currently have that sitting in savings?
Most families don’t, and that’s okay. That’s exactly why life insurance exists.
As an agent, my role is to help families determine how much coverage they truly need while keeping it within a budget that makes sense for them.
That protection may include:
• Final Expense (Whole Life Insurance)
• Term Life Insurance
• Income Protection
• Mortgage Protection
Because life insurance really isn’t about you. It’s about the people who would have to continue on without your income.
I also asked her to think about another scenario:
What if you just purchased a $300,000 home?
Would your spouse be able to keep up with the mortgage payments alone if your income suddenly disappeared?
Grieving the loss of someone you love is already devastating.
Having to worry about losing the family home at the same time would make it even harder.
Unfortunately, situations like this happen every day. But my goal is to help families prepare before a crisis happens.
Let’s talk about your family’s needs, the “what ifs,” and a budget you can comfortably manage. I’ll provide the options, and you can choose what works best for you and your loved ones.
As always, I’m here to help.
