Rates are not as low as we would like, but if you are looking to purchase a home maybe consider an FHA 5/1 arm, 3.5% down payment, with a start rate of 5.0% or less, locked in for 5 years. the savings is substantial and you can qualify for a higher priced home with the lower Rate.
