It is so important to make sure you are getting the right advice when it comes to mortgages. All the financial gurus are predicting that mortgage rates will probably go up by about 1% this year… So, if the following applies to you, please reach out to me:

The Fed raises rates but pricing opened better then yesterday? Why? To keep it simple the Fed rate is the rate that banks borrow money from the federal government at, not the rate the banks lend money to all of us at. The Fed raised rates because they believe the economy is slowly improving but Wall Street and most experts agree there is still a ton of room for improvement both nationally and globally. This doesn't mean that mortgage rates automatically follow suit with the Fed’s increase. We do think the economy is improving, rates will start to trend up and home values are definitely on the rise. On the flip side rates are still very low, it's still a great time to buy and the sky isn't falling as some in the media would make you think. If you have questions feel free to call.
