Citizens National Bank (CNB) is pleased to welcome Cristine Klenke as a Business Banking Officer in its Celina market. Cristine will be working with farms and businesses, offering commercial and agricultural loans and lines of credit, as well as aiding with cash management solutions.

Cristine has been in the banking industry for more than 10 years and has experience with a wide variety of residential, commercial, and ag lending. Having grown up on a dairy farm, she has a true understanding of the agriculture industry and will be a great resource for farm clients. “I have had the privilege of working with customers both local and across the US. I am excited to join CNB and work with customers in the communities I grew up in and live in.”

Andy Rosenbeck, Celina Market President, states, “It’s great to see someone with Cristine’s years of experience join our team at CNB. She will be an outstanding resource for our customers and a great fit to help us grow!”

Cristine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University. She was an active member of 4H and FFA in her youth and is a current 4H Advisor. In her free time, she loves to spend time outdoors with her children, attending sporting events, or going to the lake.

Cheryl’s dedication to the community through her service will be missed!

It is official: our very own Cheryl Verhoff is retiring from Citizens National Bank, and with that big life update, she is also wrapping up her incredible run on the Downtown Lima, Inc. Board of Trustees. While we are so excited for her next chapter, it is truly hard to imagine our board meetings, events, or downtown itself without Cheryl right in the middle of it all.

Cheryl joined our board in January of 2000, making her our longest-serving trustee with over 26 years of dedicated service to our team. But her connection to downtown goes back even further, starting her career at Citizen's National Bank before the Civic Center was even built. She has literally watched this district transform over the decades, and at every single step, she was right there helping lead the way.

Whether she was handling the heavy lifting on our Executive Board as Treasurer, guiding projects on the Loan and Design committees, or spending countless hours behind the scenes making events like Purse Bingo and the Game Show Extravaganza a success, Cheryl always brought her whole heart to the work. She never hesitated to show up, roll up her sleeves, and do whatever it took to support the team.

As she steps into retirement, we are going to miss her sharp wisdom, her incredible work ethic, and most of all, her warm presence around the table.

Cheryl, thank you for being such an incredible champion for Downtown Lima, and more importantly, for being such a wonderful friend to all of us over the years. We are so deeply grateful for everything you have given to this community.
