Northeast State Singers

Northeast State Singers In Fall 2008 Northeast State began its first volunteer choral ensemble, with 13 singers under the direction of Tawana Teague.

On December 4,2008, the choral group presented a Christmas Concert that featured several singers as soloist. In Fall2010, the choral ensemble was offered as a credit course. Today, the group is known as the Northeast State Singers. This group sings for Northeast State's Veteran's day Ceremony, Honors Convocation, and presents a Christmas and Spring Concert. Last spring the singers were invited to

sing with five other community colleges for Roane State Community College's 40th Anniversary. In May the Northeast State Singers sang with Appalachian Express Chorus for their spring concert.
