Just a reminder as life gets busy during the holidays:

It is that time of year again, tax season is right around the corner. Do you have all your vendor paperwork in order? Do you have their (W-9 forms) EIN or SSN in QuickBooks so that the 1099 report is ready to go to produce and have mailed the 1099's by the end of January deadline? It would also be a great idea to have these documents scanned into system for easy access, should you get audited. Small steps now, can ease the stress if you get audited later. This is also a great time to double check Work Comp coverage documents for your vendors. It is always great practice to have vendor's Certificate of Insurance scanned too. (Make sure you, as a business owner, are listed as additional insured on the certificate) Give me a call if you have questions.
