ivorce settlement, the mortgage and the real property. Carri was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and has been hard at work in the mortgage industry since 1984. Prior to her career in this field, Carri had attended Lawrence Technological University where she had earned her degree in Architecture. In high school, Carri began working in the basement of a Real Estate office where she would organize the listings of homes prior to them being on the computer. Her dad had owned a real estate company and her stepmom had owned a mortgage company, so working in the mortgage industry just seemed to suit her perfectly! Carri soon realized that working for Union Home Mortgage was the best option for her, as she had admired the coaching that Partners receive and the clear communication amongst one another. She stays motivated by knowing that she has the opportunity to teach and educate her clients throughout the home-buying/refinancing process. Carri currently resides in Commerce, Michigan where she lives with her two children (daughter lives in NY) and their dogs, Fozzie and Kermit! She is currently a member of The Divorce Lending Association, The Oakland County Bar Association, Michigan Inter professional Association, Mediation Training, Collaborative Training, VESTA member, Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan, Licensed Realtor and Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. Carri is certified in divorce lending specializing in working with family law attorneys and certified divorce financial planners to help navigate the real estate, debt and income from divorce.
