The Arlington Institute is a think tank that seeks to raise awareness about the unique period of time in which we are living and the opportunity we have to advance the human species and provide an alternative to the dystopian future we are all facing. Berkeley Springs Transition Talks grew out of The Arlington Institute’s TAI Presents speaker series that began in the 1990’s in Arlington, Virginia
and was moved to Berkeley Springs when TAI moved there in 2006. Our underlying presumption is that humanity is experiencing an unprecedented shift in the evolution of the species that is exposing new personal and social capabilities and possibilities. It is our hope is that this speaker series helps to illuminate the path going forward and opens minds to the new world that is emerging. The Transition Talks program draws broadly from the eastern seaboard region, with attendees commonly driving from Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia and West Virginia for the weekend presentations. Although the talks are free and open to the public, attendees are encouraged to be a part of sustaining the program by making small contributions. Petersen, and volunteers Bobbie Rohn and Abby Porter work together to bring provocative and sometimes unusual speakers to the forum. They come from a broad spectrum of disciplines that, in the past, have included a landscape architect, physicist, remote viewer, alternative health physician, channelers, a paranormal researcher, financial analyst, futurist, dream researcher and a number of others. Almost all presenters are published authors. A complete list of previous presenters can be found at www.transitiontalks.org/lectures.html.
