Shawn Ohm is senior at Bemidji State studying Marketing. He is originally from Park Rapids, MN. Shawn is most excited to learn more about the financial world and help others achieve their financial goals.

Brandon Whitney is a sophomore from Mankato, MN and is a student at Bemidji State studying Business Administration. Brandon is most excited to meet new people.

Last week was our 145th Northwestern Mutual Annual Meeting in Milwaukee, WI. We had 3 incredible days packed with inspiration from guest speakers Emmanuel Acho and Bear Grylls, and a variety of learning sessions.

Our office also got to enjoy some extra activities as well! Hailee and Geana both ran their first 5k at the Roots and Wings Run/walk. We also attended a Brewers Game, enjoyed an evening Pontoon ride, and Florida Georgia Line and Thomas Rhett performed privately for our closing concert!

Congratulations to Carmen Fore on her 20th Anniversary as a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual.

Carmen’s journey started in 1985 when she joined Northwestern Mutual in a Marketing role, since then has had various roles within the company in areas of Recruiting, Developing, Leadership, and helping clients create financial security. In her career, she has worked in 3 Network offices and in 2005, became the Managing Director of the Grand Forks, ND District office. Carmen has a strong passion for helping clients plan for financial security, along with coaching and developing new advisors in the Financial Services Career.

Northwestern Mutual proudly welcomes Financial Representative, Ashley Dickinson to its office. Ashley will join a network of professionals offering financial solutions, expert guidance and innovative plans to his clients.

Dickinson is a native of Park Rapids, MN but moved to Bemidji on 2015. She graduated from Bemidji Northwest Tech with her Dental Assisting degree. After moving on from that career, she found her way into the finance industry and to Northwestern Mutual.

Ashley and her boyfriend, Landon, have a 7-month old boy named Kash and a 10-year old lab named Annie. They have a house on the lake and spend most of their time there or outdoors.

"What I am most looking forward to in this career is meeting new people and making an impact in their lives. I am passionate about helping people in the community reach their financial goals."

Northwestern Mutual – Bemidji is proud to recognize it's new Financial Representative, Kade Nelson. Previously, Kade was an intern in the Bemidji office and earned national recognition, finishing 18th out of 1,500+ interns. He joins a strong team of professionals offering financial solutions, expert guidance and innovative plans to their clients.

Nelson is a native of Thief River Falls, MN. He earned a Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Bemidji State University, where he was a member of the men's baseball team. He graduated last December.

In his free time he loves riding snowmobile and ice fishing, and in the summer he loves being on the lake. The thing he is most excited about with his career at Northwestern Mutual is creating lifelong relationships with his clients and helping them reach their financial goals.
