Feeling honored to be featured by the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce as part of their Women in Business series!
Running a business has many challenges, but it is also an incredible blessing. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to serve small business owners through bookkeeping, helping them gain clarity, peace of mind, and the freedom to focus on what they do best.
Iโm thankful to God for guiding me on this journey and for the support of this fantastic local community.
Thank you to the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce for the feature and all you do to support women in business!

Today we celebrate, Chastity Tacata with Pacific Kai Bookkeeping
How long have you been in business?
I have been running my bookkeeping business for 1 year now, though I have been in the industry for much longer.
What brought you to this path?
Iโve always had a passion for helping small businesses stay financially organized and empowered. After working in accounting for various firms, I decided to start my own business, offering customized, client-focused solutions that genuinely support business owners.
What has been your biggest obstacle or challenge?
One of the biggest challenges has been balancing all aspects of running a business soloโfrom client work to marketing and operations. However, it has also been an incredible learning experience that has helped me grow both professionally and personally.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Building strong relationships with my clients and being trusted as their bookkeeping partner is something Iโm most proud of. Seeing businesses gain clarity and confidence in their finances through my services is extremely rewarding.
What is one thing you wish everyone knew about being a woman-owned business?
Being a woman in business often means balancing multiple roles, like entrepreneur, wife, mother, and more. Balancing a thriving business with a strong family life requires strength, faith, and perseverance. But with Godโs guidance, it is possible to build a business with integrity, serve others well, and still prioritize the calling of family.
