Capital City Bass is a team tournament trail that fishes around the state of Louisiana, with an Anglers of the Year award, and Classic Championship each season. We are a non profit club with all of the extra membership funds going back to the anglers in our Classic tournament payout each season. All of our tournaments are 100% pay-back giving all the money back to were it belongs and thats our ang
lers. The first tournament was held at Doiron's Landing in Morgan City, LA. on February 13, 2011. There were 28 anglers that competed in the event. Currently we are in search of new members to grow Capital City Bass, and make it the best team tournament trail in the state. We have the best website of any bass organization that you will find, and it stays updated constantly so our anglers know whats going on at all times. Our tournaments are smooth running and have a professional atmosphere. At Capital City Bass, we try our best to make all of the anglers feel like they are fishing in big time bass event with a small time feel. We offer two tournament trails to fish (Elite Teams and Opens). The Elite Teams Series is for the serious bass anglers looking for some good competiton, and greater prize money. The Elites have 8 tournaments, and an Anglers of the Year award, where the winners fish the next season free. If the Elite Teams $100 entry fee is too much, come fish our Open Series. It's a $50 dollar entry fee, no membership fee, 3 tournaments, and a chance to make the Capital City Bass Classic. For those who are looking to fish alot of tournaments you can fish both the Elites and Opens. We take care everyone, and want to give every type of angler a chance to fish with Capital City Bass, and just enjoy the sport of tournament fishing.
