What's a celebration without Petunia? 🐷

Stock Yards Bank & Trust's favorite celebrity, Petunia the Inflatable Pig, made a special appearance at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce's WKU Welcome Back event!

Our Bowling Green team was proud to connect with students on WKU's campus as they kicked off a new academic year. From meeting future Hilltoppers to sharing information about Stock Yards Bank & Trust and our commitment to the Bowling Green community, it was a great day of making new connections.

Stock Yards Bank & Trust is pleased to welcome Whitney Risley to its Business Banking team in the Henderson market.

Whitney joins Stock Yards Bank & Trust following her most recent role as Director of Existing Industry & Workforce Development for Henderson Economic Development. In that position, she worked closely with existing and prospective businesses to support local growth, attract new businesses, and create jobs throughout the Henderson region.

In her new role, Whitney will work closely with business owners and leaders to understand their operational and strategic objectives and provide customized financial solutions to help them navigate today’s complex financial landscape and achieve long-term success.

Whitney’s experience working with local businesses and her knowledge of the Henderson market will be valuable assets as Stock Yards Bank continues to expand its commitment to servicing businesses throughout the Western Kentucky and Evansville region. Whitney serves on the Holy Name School – School Council and the Deaconess Henderson Foundation Board. A proud Henderson native, Whitney is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Murray State University. Whitney, along with her husband and three daughters, reside in Henderson. In her free time, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, her daughters’ activities of cross country and tumbling, and attending community events.

Last week, Stock Yards Bank & Trust was proud to join community leaders, project partners, and local officials in celebrating the grand opening of Gloria's Place in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.

Gloria's Place will provide Permanent Supportive Housing and critical support services for 44 residents, creating new opportunities for stability and long-term success. We were honored to support this affordable housing project through construction financing, equity capital through tax credit investment, and sponsorship of the project's Affordable Housing Program grant application.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Cincinnati Market President Stephen Brown shared remarks on the importance of partnerships like these in expanding access to affordable housing. Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this vision to life and make a lasting impact in the Cincinnati community.
