I budgeted $200 for groceries.
The receipt said $254. 😭😂

Does that mean the budget failed? Nope.

It means I have information.

If my actual grocery spending is consistently higher than what I think I should be spending, I have two choices: change my habits or change the number.

Because a budget isn’t supposed to ignore your real life just to make the numbers look good.

Building the dream while still living the life that funds the dream. 🥹💻

Some nights it’s spreadsheets, website updates, product revisions, content planning, emails, ideas on the iPad… and realizing at 11-something that I never ate dinner. 😭

I’m building Steward Well Advisory Group from the ground up, and there’s so much happening behind the scenes that nobody sees.

The business isn’t where I want it to be yet.
The audience isn’t where I want it to be yet.
The sales aren’t where I want them to be yet.

But “yet” is the important part.

I believe in what I’m building. I believe there are people who need what S.W.A.G. has to offer. And I believe the work I’m putting in now is laying the foundation for something much bigger than what I can currently see.

So tonight? We eat, we work, we pray, and we keep building. 😂🤎

One day I’m going to look back at these late nights and remember when it was just me, my laptop, my iPad, a vision, and a whole lot of faith.

I’m choosing to ask. 💚

I’ve spent the past several months building Steward Well Advisory Group with the resources already in my hands. I’ve invested my time, my income, my experience, and a whole lot of faith into turning S.W.A.G. from an idea into a real company serving real people.

And now, I’m ready to take it further.

I’m currently working to raise $10,000 in seed support to help S.W.A.G. enter its next stage of growth. The funding will help protect our intellectual property, expand our marketing and customer acquisition efforts, and strengthen the infrastructure needed to serve more people.
