🎶 Workin’ 9-2-5… with a little extra meaning this year. 💗
This 9/25, we’re taking a moment to remember the one and only Dolly Parton and the incredible legacy she left behind.

Dolly gave us unforgettable music, plenty of sparkle, and of course, an anthem for hardworking people everywhere. But beyond the music, she showed us the impact we can make when hard work is paired with kindness, generosity, and a genuine commitment to serving others.

That feels especially fitting for our HFMA Nor Cal Chapter HFMA-NCA community.
Every day, our members work behind the scenes to strengthen healthcare organizations, support patients and their communities, solve tough problems, and help move healthcare forward.

So today, in Dolly’s honor, we’re celebrating all of YOU who keep workin’ 9-to-5 (and, let’s be real, sometimes well beyond 😉) to make a difference.

Sometimes, a mentor sees something in us before we’re able to see it ourselves. 💙

As we kick off our HFMA Northern California Mentorship Spotlight series, Ramona Hernandez reflects on the mentors who helped shape both her career and the leader she is today.

One reflection especially stayed with us:

“My mentors saw potential in me long before I recognized it in myself.”

They believed in her. They challenged her. They encouraged her to grow beyond what she thought was possible.

Along the way, Ramona carried forward some powerful lessons:
