Life or Accidental Death insurance transfers the risk of an early death away from you and your family to the insurance carrier. If something happens your house can be covered and they won't have to leave it, or it allows a plan for them to be able to grieve without worrying about an immediate need to decide about your home. You can also cover your debts so that your family is not bequeathed them to pay.
