If you receive such a letter, please exercise caution and consider visiting our office to verify its authenticity before responding or sending payment. We have received a Census packet in the mail, and I just want to encourage Atoka County to do your research on why the Census is important! The County receives a lot of funding based on the population and we fall short most of the time receiving funds because of it. Our area would benefit greatly from an accurate census count. I hope you choose to participate. 😊
