Let’s clear something up that a lot of homeowners don’t realize:

The term “claims specialist” is not a licensed position in the insurance world. It’s a sales label plain and simple. It’s designed to sound authoritative, but it doesn’t mean the person has any legal ability to interpret or argue your insurance policy.

Insurance policies are contracts. They are written in very specific language that requires training, experience, and licensing to properly interpret and negotiate. A salesperson no matter how well-intentioned cannot legally or effectively argue policy language on your behalf. They don’t have the authority, and in most cases, they don’t have the depth of knowledge required to challenge an insurance carrier when it matters most.

Using titles like "claims specialist" and lines such as "I fight insurance companies" is a way to blur that line and build trust without actually having the credentials to back it up.

Here’s how I operate differently:

I serve in two clearly defined roles and never at the same time.

• As a roof consultant, I assess damage, educate you on your roof’s condition, and help you make informed decisions about repairs or replacement. My insurance knowledge is still there and I can ensure scope is correct and document the claim accurately.
• As a public adjuster, I step into a completely different role, one that is licensed and legally recognized to interpret your policy and negotiate directly with your insurance company. This is when I am hired to handle a claim to help you gain coverage and maximize a payout. I am paid on the total amount of the claim and I am not associated to the repair of the home.

I do not mix these roles.

If I’m your consultant, I’m not handling your claim and only using my expertise to document and ensure scope is accurate for repairs.
If I’m your public adjuster, I’m not selling you a roof I am representing you to your insurance company.

That separation matters because it removes conflicts of interest and ensures you’re getting guidance based on what’s best for you not what leads to a sale.

Sometimes a roof consultant is needed and sometimes a public adjuster is warranted. If you want to go it alone that is always your choice as well. If you want to understand how to properly navigate an insurance claim and avoid these common tactics, I’ve broken it all down here:

Bottom line: Titles don’t equal qualifications. When it comes to your home and your claim, make sure you’re working with someone who is actually authorized and equipped to represent you.

🚨 If you got hail like THIS at your home here in Atlanta or nearby contact me immediately. 🚨Actual stones from today’s storm are posted. Larger stones have been verified by other homeowners already.

That’s nearly 2 inches on the tape. That is legitimate, roof-damaging hail and if it hit your neighborhood, your roof took a beating whether you can see it from the ground or not.

I’m not just another door-knocker. I’m licensed as an adjuster in the state of Texas which means I know exactly what adjusters look for and how to make sure your damage gets documented the right way so your roof gets fully covered. I understand the policy you have front to back. That’s not something your average salesman can say.

📸 If you have hail on the ground do this RIGHT NOW:
✅ Take photos and video next to a tape measure or common object for size reference
✅ If possible, collect some in a zip-lock bag and throw them in the freezer
✅ Save everything, those photos and samples are evidence for your claim

⚠️ Large hail is in tonight’s forecast. Are you prepared?

When the storm passes, the door knockers will show up fast. Most mean well, but knowing how to file a claim is not the same as knowing how YOUR policy pays out. You need someone that understands both; how to get the roof replaced and how to navigate the insurance process.

Endorsements. Exclusions. Deductible. Coverage gaps. Those details matter and they can cost you thousands if you don’t catch them before you file.

That’s exactly what I do

Still on the mend but now I've got all the tools in place and I'm ready to work. 💪
I'm launching my second business here in Texas focused on roofing sales and roof replacements. And while I do hold a Public Adjuster's license, this is all about your roofing needs: replacements, repairs, and storm damage.
What that license means for YOU is simple: I understand the insurance side of roofing better than most. I know how damage is evaluated, what carriers look for, and how to make sure your roof gets replaced correctly and completely.
But here's the part that really matters; if I take on your roof and can't get your claim approved, I have licensed Public Adjusters "other than myself" who will step in and handle it. You're not just getting a roofer. You're getting a team that won't stop until your claim is resolved.
And if you are wondering, how can you support me as I get this going?
Referrals mean everything. If I have done business with you in the past, the best thing you can do is tell your neighbor, family, friends, or anyone dealing with roof issues to give me a call. Word of mouth still goes a long way around here, and I truly appreciate every recommendation.
No guesswork. No runaround. Just honest roofing expertise backed by real claims professionals.
Free inspections. Call or message me today.

Homeowners — a quick heads up before storm season picks up and with this little storm that just passed. 🏠⛈️

Not every hail storm damages your roof. Shingles are built to handle minor impacts, and small hail (under 1”) often leaves no legitimate claim behind.
So when someone knocks on your door after a storm and says you “definitely have damage” — slow down and ask them:
✅ Can you show me photos of every slope with actual hits? Don’t accept one or two impacts.
✅ Do you have a certified hail report showing stone size? Insurance carriers use these to help support a loss.
✅ What does an insurance adjuster actually look for — and what’s the threshold for a full replacement?

If they stumble on any of those questions, that tells you everything you need to know.
Also, be aware a roof salesman can not act as an adjuster for your claim. It takes a license to do that. Here’s the difference with me: I’m a licensed public adjuster, experienced as a staff adjuster with a large name carrier, and an experienced roofing consultant — and depending on what I find, I can serve you in whatever capacity actually benefits you most. Sometimes that means representing you as a public adjuster through the claims process. Other times, it means stepping in as a roofing consultant to make sure the scope of work is right and you’re not being oversold. Either way, my job is to give you an honest assessment — not a sales pitch.
A roof salesman gets paid when you sign. I get paid when you’re protected properly.

The carrier has experts on their side. Do you?

Insurance companies don’t send generalists to evaluate your claim — they send specialists trained to minimize payouts. Shouldn’t your representation be just as sharp and licensed to maximize your payout. When storms arrive please remember roofing contractors can’t argue policies and coverage. They are experts at replacing roofs not adjusting insurance claims.

Surgery may slow my walk, but it will NEVER slow my work. 💪

Let’s be real — life doesn’t pause just because you’re healing, and neither does business. So here I am, boot and all, coffee on the desk, back at it like any other day. If you’ve ever had to push through when things got tough, you know exactly what this feels like.

Claims don’t stop, and neither do I. If you need me, I’m right here at my desk, ready to get the job done for you — same as always.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. It means everything. 🙏

Recovery Update 🙏
I want to take a moment to update you all — I am still in pain following my recent surgery and the road to full recovery is ongoing. I am currently unable to drive or bear weight on my knee, but I am slowly making my way back to the desk and back to what matters most — taking care of my clients.
While my mobility is limited, my commitment to you is not. I am fully available to take calls and continue representing my clients with the same dedication you’ve always counted on.
Thank you for your patience, your kind words, and your continued trust. I may be healing, but I am still here and still fighting for you. 💪
Please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m just a phone call away.

Hi everyone — wanted to give a quick update following my surgery. The nerve block has worn off and I won't sugarcoat it — the pain is pretty intense right now, so I'm focused entirely on resting and recovering.

I'll be stepping back from work calls unless something is a true emergency. If you need to reach me, texting is the best option, though please bear with me as my responses may not be immediate.

Thank you all so much for the kind messages and support — it truly means the world. 🙏
