Still on the mend but now I've got all the tools in place and I'm ready to work. 💪
I'm launching my second business here in Texas focused on roofing sales and roof replacements. And while I do hold a Public Adjuster's license, this is all about your roofing needs: replacements, repairs, and storm damage.
What that license means for YOU is simple: I understand the insurance side of roofing better than most. I know how damage is evaluated, what carriers look for, and how to make sure your roof gets replaced correctly and completely.
But here's the part that really matters; if I take on your roof and can't get your claim approved, I have licensed Public Adjusters "other than myself" who will step in and handle it. You're not just getting a roofer. You're getting a team that won't stop until your claim is resolved.
And if you are wondering, how can you support me as I get this going?
Referrals mean everything. If I have done business with you in the past, the best thing you can do is tell your neighbor, family, friends, or anyone dealing with roof issues to give me a call. Word of mouth still goes a long way around here, and I truly appreciate every recommendation.
No guesswork. No runaround. Just honest roofing expertise backed by real claims professionals.
Free inspections. Call or message me today.

Homeowners — a quick heads up before storm season picks up and with this little storm that just passed. 🏠⛈️

Not every hail storm damages your roof. Shingles are built to handle minor impacts, and small hail (under 1”) often leaves no legitimate claim behind.
So when someone knocks on your door after a storm and says you “definitely have damage” — slow down and ask them:
✅ Can you show me photos of every slope with actual hits? Don’t accept one or two impacts.
✅ Do you have a certified hail report showing stone size? Insurance carriers use these to help support a loss.
✅ What does an insurance adjuster actually look for — and what’s the threshold for a full replacement?

If they stumble on any of those questions, that tells you everything you need to know.
Also, be aware a roof salesman can not act as an adjuster for your claim. It takes a license to do that. Here’s the difference with me: I’m a licensed public adjuster, experienced as a staff adjuster with a large name carrier, and an experienced roofing consultant — and depending on what I find, I can serve you in whatever capacity actually benefits you most. Sometimes that means representing you as a public adjuster through the claims process. Other times, it means stepping in as a roofing consultant to make sure the scope of work is right and you’re not being oversold. Either way, my job is to give you an honest assessment — not a sales pitch.
A roof salesman gets paid when you sign. I get paid when you’re protected properly.

The carrier has experts on their side. Do you?

Insurance companies don’t send generalists to evaluate your claim — they send specialists trained to minimize payouts. Shouldn’t your representation be just as sharp and licensed to maximize your payout. When storms arrive please remember roofing contractors can’t argue policies and coverage. They are experts at replacing roofs not adjusting insurance claims.

Surgery may slow my walk, but it will NEVER slow my work. 💪

Let’s be real — life doesn’t pause just because you’re healing, and neither does business. So here I am, boot and all, coffee on the desk, back at it like any other day. If you’ve ever had to push through when things got tough, you know exactly what this feels like.

Claims don’t stop, and neither do I. If you need me, I’m right here at my desk, ready to get the job done for you — same as always.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. It means everything. 🙏

Recovery Update 🙏
I want to take a moment to update you all — I am still in pain following my recent surgery and the road to full recovery is ongoing. I am currently unable to drive or bear weight on my knee, but I am slowly making my way back to the desk and back to what matters most — taking care of my clients.
While my mobility is limited, my commitment to you is not. I am fully available to take calls and continue representing my clients with the same dedication you’ve always counted on.
Thank you for your patience, your kind words, and your continued trust. I may be healing, but I am still here and still fighting for you. 💪
Please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m just a phone call away.

Hi everyone — wanted to give a quick update following my surgery. The nerve block has worn off and I won't sugarcoat it — the pain is pretty intense right now, so I'm focused entirely on resting and recovering.

I'll be stepping back from work calls unless something is a true emergency. If you need to reach me, texting is the best option, though please bear with me as my responses may not be immediate.

Thank you all so much for the kind messages and support — it truly means the world. 🙏

I'm OUT of surgery and living my best half-numb life! The nerve blocker is doing an excellent job on the pain, but my leg has apparently decided to take a sabbatical without me. It just... doesn't exist right now “it’s there just can’t feel it”. Very unsettling. 10/10 do not recommend having a ghost limb.

First and foremost — a MASSIVE shoutout to the absolute rockstar, Dr. Darius Mitchell, and the entire incredible team at Christus St. Michael Surgery in Texarkana! 🙌 They took amazing care of me and made the whole experience as smooth as possible — which is saying something when someone is voluntarily letting people cut into their knee. You all are heroes and I cannot thank you enough!

I want to thankmy wife Elizabeth Smith. Without her these last two months would have been miserable, difficult, and all around awful. I love you and thank you for caring for me during sickness!

And a HUGE, heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out, sent prayers, and checked in on me — you have no idea how much that means. Truly. I am surrounded by the best people. 🙏

The meniscus repair went well, but the doctor has sentenced me to four weeks of non-weight bearing, which means I'll be scooting around like a very determined penguin. 🤦🏼‍♂️🦽 The silver lining? I get to work from home and keep taking care of my clients — so business continues!

That said, I am kindly asking that any business calls wait a day or two while the anesthesia finishes its victory lap through my system. I am being informed — by multiple witnesses — that I am currently "loopy" and may not remember anything I say. So unless you want advice from a man who just tried to high-five his own foot, give it 24 hours. 😂

Thank you all again. You're the real MVPs!

Going Under the Knife… And It Got Me Thinking

This week, I’m having knee surgery. As I prepare to trust a skilled surgeon with my body, I’m reminded why expertise matters when something important is at stake.

I wouldn’t dream of operating on my own knee. I need someone who:
✅ Understands the complexities
✅ Has specialized training and experience
✅ Knows exactly what to look for
✅ Can navigate complications I’d never see coming

And that’s exactly why you need a Public Insurance Adjuster for your claim.

Just like I’m trusting my surgeon to repair my knee properly, you should trust a professional to handle your insurance claim. Insurance policies are complex documents filled with technical language, coverage limitations, and hidden clauses that can cost you thousands if missed.

I dissect your claim like a surgeon:

- Examining every detail of your policy
- Identifying what you’re truly owed
- Documenting damages with precision
- Fighting for maximum recovery

I wouldn’t trust an amateur to repair my body. You shouldn’t trust the insurance company alone to handle your claim.

💼 While I’m recovering, I am still here fighting for you to get what you deserve.

When an Individual Decides to Shift Their Path to Grow:

Growth often requires moving beyond what our current environment can provide. Not everyone will understand a growth mindset, and that’s natural—each working professional has their own vision for their career journey.
The pursuit of growth is inherent to the professional path. Consider the dedication required: earning a bachelor’s degree, achieving a master’s, gaining experience beyond one’s primary expertise, deepening knowledge within one’s field, and obtaining professional licensure. These investments of time and effort reflect a fundamental drive toward excellence.
Not every path looks the same, and not everyone is meant to remain in the background. As James 1:5 reminds us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” Our intelligence and capacity for growth are divine gifts meant to be cultivated.
Seek out those whose light shines brighter than your own. Learn from people who have achieved what you aspire to reach. Their brilliance doesn’t diminish your own—rather, it illuminates your path forward and strengthens the light within you. Surrounding yourself with those who challenge and inspire you is not an admission of inadequacy; it’s a commitment to becoming the best version of yourself.
Growth requires courage to step into new spaces where your potential can fully unfold.

Update: Upcoming Knee Surgery

I wanted to give everyone a heads up that I’ll be having an extensive surgery for a knee injury on February 17th.

I’ll be working from home during my recovery, but please bare with me as I may be a bit slower to respond during the first week post-surgery. I’m committed to staying on top of my work and will do my best to maintain my usual responsiveness.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. I appreciate your support!

Yes, the wheelchair that was donated will be utilized for the first few weeks to help me get around the house and check the mail😂.

Setting Realistic Expectations: Understanding Your Roof Claim

As a public adjuster, transparency with my clients is everything. While I’m committed to fighting for every policyholder I represent, I also believe in setting realistic expectations from the start.

The truth is, not every roof qualifies for insurance coverage—and here’s why:
Insurance policies are designed to cover sudden, accidental damage from covered perils like storms, hail, or wind. They’re not designed to cover roofs that have simply reached the end of their lifespan. If your shingles have lost their granules and you’ve gotten 25-30 years of service from your roof, that’s actually a sign of a roof well-lived, not an insurance claim.

Understanding the Difference:
🔹 Storm-Related Damage – Sudden impact from hail, wind, or falling debris
🔹 Wear & Tear – Natural aging and deterioration over time
🔹 Lack of Maintenance – Damage resulting from deferred upkeep

My role is to thoroughly assess your damage, advocate fiercely when you have a legitimate claim, and provide honest guidance when you don’t. Sometimes that means delivering news you don’t want to hear, but it also means you can trust that when I do take on your claim, I’m fighting for something we can win.
Have questions about your roof? Let’s talk about what’s realistic for your situation.
