Good food, familiar faces, and a year worth celebrating. This past Friday, Paulding County Farm Bureau board members, office staff, and farmer members gathered at Burnt Hickory Park for our Annual Meeting. We celebrated the past year’s achievements, shared legislative advocacy updates, and elected officers for the year ahead, we also shared a delicious meal and recognized Ms. Patricia Moore as our Volunteer of the Year. Congratulations, Ms. Pat! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the meeting a success. 🎉

Paulding County Farm Bureau was honored to be recognized at Georgia Farm Bureau's District 3 Annual Meeting on Monday.🎉

PCFB was recognized for supporting the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture, contributing to the GFB ImPACt Fund, and growing membership during the past program year.

These accomplishments would not be possible without our members, board, staff & volunteers!

The evening also included a special honor for Patricia Moore, named Paulding County’s Volunteer of the Year. Since joining in 2024, Ms. Pat has been a valued part of our Women’s Committee and continues to help educate children about agriculture and where their food and fiber come from.

Saturday was a great day for the Young Farmers and Ranchers Program in Paulding County. Chloe Moody, Ashton James, Ethan James, and Asher Nappier spent the day at Tractor Supply Company’s Family Day in Dallas, Georgia, serving hot dogs, sharing Farm Bureau swag, and connecting with the local community about membership and agriculture. We appreciate their dedication to Paulding County Farm Bureau and their continued advocacy for agriculture.

Our Women’s Committee members thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Ragsdale Elementary 3rd-grade classes last week! This is one of our favorite activities, and it’s always a hit with the kids! Honeybees play a crucial role in agriculture. We want to express our deepest gratitude to not only our Women’s Committee but also to Tanya Andrews, the STEM teacher at Ragsdale, for allowing us to come and teach her students about agriculture. 🐝🌻

At the end of June, Paulding County Farm Bureau hosted a Farm Social at Caney Branch Farms, home of County President Sam Raybon. Nearly 50 members and friends gathered to connect with fellow farmers, share ideas, and discuss what is happening on their operations. This event has become a cherished annual tradition for our county, and we look forward to it every year.
