Today is National Take Your Child to the Library Day! 📚
It’s the perfect time to spark curiosity about where our food and fiber come from.

Many Georgia libraries offer ag-themed books and resources, and Georgia Farm Bureau’s Ag in the Classroom program provides free materials to help kids (and adults!) learn more about Georgia agriculture.

Plan a visit with your family, check out a farm-focused book, and ask our office manager about agriculture resources and Ag in the Classroom. Small moments like story time can grow a lifelong appreciation for the farmers who feed and clothe us.

Coweta County Farm Bureau is grateful to be a part of our local community and enjoy interacting with local residents and students to promote agriculture awareness.

CCFB was recognized for its outstanding member programs and agricultural advocacy activities at the 88th Annual Georgia Farm Bureau Convention held Dec. 7-9 on Jekyll Island. CCFB received the GFB Rewarding Excellence in Ag Program Cultivator Award in the organization’s large membership division.

🥬 Fall ’25 STEM Challenge: Complete!

The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture Growing More With Less STEM Challenge sparked some truly impressive ideas from students across Georgia. Teams explored creative ways to grow smarter using hydroponics and innovative systems, and the level of problem-solving on display was incredible.

Congratulations to Coweta County’s own The Heritage School for creating an amazing system and placing first overall in the 4th grade category!
