After years of limited inventory and fast-moving decisions, buyers now have more options and more negotiating power. While Atlanta's Core housing sales volume reached $2.73 billion last month, overall sales volume declined 11.3% from June to July as active listings continued to grow.
According to John Ryan, Chief Marketing Officer of Georgia MLS, today's market is being shaped by choice and value rather than scarcity and urgency.
For buyers, that means more time to evaluate homes, pricing, and their financial goals. For sellers, it means strategic pricing and strong presentation matter more than ever.
