For those of you who have logged on, thank you and I apologize for my lack of communication. As a grandparent of three grandchildren, two of whom were born since February, life is delightfully busy. I will be placing the sign out soon to collect homeowners dues to cover our monthly landscaping contract. If any of you are more enthusiastic and better at posting than me, I welcome your input on this FB site. You can contact me as follows:

Thank you to our neighbors and my friends Sue and Jan for their help putting up Christmas decorations at the front entrance. Our sweet, former neighbor, Rosemary was kind enough and talented enough to make them before they moved a few years ago. Wishing everyone a joyful, peaceful holiday. No matter politics or religion, we can all unite in that sentiment.

Thank you to all who paid dues this year. In order to meet our 12 month contract for landscaping, we needed 55 and a half families to contribute. As far as households are concerned, 51 have contributed but we did squeaked by thanks to the added generosity of 150 Gaelic Way, 200 Gaelic Way, 270 Gaelic Way, 305 Gaelic Way, 335 Gaelic Way, 110 Galway Bend, 115 Galway Bend, 155 Galway Bend, 125 Roscommon. 51 represents half the residents of this subdivision. I would love to hear suggestions from anyone interested in trying to get more participation.

I recently sent out a notice to neighbors which produced one additional payment for a total of 43 payments out of 102 homes. Two people are interested in meeting with me to discuss the possibility of creating a directory and planning a get together. If anyone else is interested in helping in any capacity, feel free to contact me at [email protected] or text 770 617-6129
Thanks to all those who contribute.

Dear Neighbors,
I am Nancy Desprez and am the treasurer and only remaining officer of the Gaelic Glen Homeowner's Association. Each year we collect $50.00 dues to cover our 12 month landscaping contract for 2 entrances. I put a sign up at the back entrance. I am attempting to set up a credit card and e-check payment option but am awaiting a required (by Paylease) EIN from the IRS. Not sure how long that may take so in the meantime, any payments can be sent to me at 115 Healey Pass made out to GGHA. If you don't wish to mail, please feel free to call me at 770 617-6129 and I will stop by and pick up. Also, please feel free to call with any questions or concerns.
Thanks.
Nancy

Not sure if yall are on Next door Gaelic Glen but Sheriff's office posted there was an armed robbery in the 200 block of Gaelic Way. That could be one of twelve in the 200 block. I will put it on our website.

This past Wednesday, I put notices on mailboxes requesting Homeowners Association dues be paid. Thank you to those of you who have responded so quickly. If anyone did not receive a letter but would like to pay, I can come by and pick it up if you call me. My number is 770 617-6129. Those who had already paid, i did not put a letter on your mailbox. If you did receive a letter, there is an stamped envelope enclosed addressed to me to return payments. Thank you for your help.

Sue Ewing helped me distribute letters today. I inadvertently left off four households on Roscommon that have paid their dues. I showed them as paid on my spreadsheet but left them off the letter.Thank you to the Stevens at 175, the Bagby's at 195, the Hodge's at 200, and the Smith's at 205. Thank you for your support.

Hello Everyone,
This is Nancy Desprez. For those of you that don't know me, I have been the treasurer for at least a dozen years. Our most recent President moved a couple of years ago and as yet, no one has offered to step up. Once upon a time we had neighborhood parties and awarded a yard of the month sign from our landscape committee. I am the sole representative and I have continued my efforts to collect dues of fifty dollars a year to pay our landscapers who are on a twelve month contract. It takes four and a half members to pay for one month. Out of 102 homes, four have paid for this year including myself. Please let me know if you want me to continue my efforts or just stop and let the entrances become overgrown jungles of weeds. I live at 115 Healey Pass and my number is 770 617-6129.

Thank you to Bonnie Desprez and my non height challenged friend, Sue Stevens for helping put up Christmas decorations at the front entrance which Rosemary Nunez so beautifully made and generously donated when they moved.

Friday, September 30th Sandy Creek is having a Homecoming Parade and Jenkins Rd will be blocked off between 1:30 and 2:00. Wanted to alert neighbors so if you enter or leave during the parade, use the back entrance on Ellison Rd.

Hope all had a great holiday season and have recovered, physically, mentally and financially. Which brings me to the purpose of this post. Each year starting in January we start collecting to help support our voluntary Homeowners Association. Dues are $50.00 for the year and go towards paying a landscaping company to maintain the entrances. It takes between four and five memberships to cover one month of twelve months contracted landscaping. Each year we struggle for fifty percent participation and it's usually the same people who do pay and the same that don't pay. Please join and remit to GGHA in care of me, the loooong suffering treasurer, Nancy Desprez at 115 Healey Pass. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and the Homeowners Association s bank account.
