List of financial tips that may help someone so undecided to share :

1. Never underestimate the value of small savings. Something is better than nothing

2. Always think twice before buying, and don’t buy it unless you can afford it twice. This does not include houses

3. Make tracking your expenses a habit. Most people aren’t even looking at bank statements, look at what you’re spending money on at least once a month

4. Avoid spending money on things to impress others. Don’t go broke trying to “look” rich

5. Do not ignore budgeting. This is the foundation of finance

7. Put money away for your future or retirement outside of just your employer, your employer plan is almost never enough money

8. Avoid falling for "get rich quick" schemes. Trust me if these worked, we’d all be rich

9. Make saving money a non-negotiable routine. Think of this as more important than your next glass of wine or uber eats

10. Avoid lifestyle inflation. Just because you make more money does not always mean you should spend more

11. Learn to distinguish between needs and wants.

12. Always have an emergency fund. I recommend at least 3 months of your expensss

13. Give every dollar a mission to grow and multiply.

14. Avoid putting all your savings in one basket.

15. Understand how money works.

I’ve been blessed to say the least in business with the amount of support I’ve gotten from people who have an interest in accomplishing their financial goals more efficiently.

I’m not a miracle worker, but I know what I’m good at and how I can help people

Thanks to those who’ve trusted me to help them with their financial dreams

I’ve been blessed to have been offered a position as Vice President at Capstone financial in Buckhead, a firm that’s been around for over 100 years

Capstone, thanks for trusting me as well to help lead you all to a direction that can be mutually beneficial for us both.

I say all of this to say, with the overwhelming support I need more time to really take care of my clients, so I am heavily slowing down the amount of clients im taking

I’ve never done this: I usually accept whoever is a good fit because I’m passionate about this, but I am currently over 500 clients and I’ve been building an amazing team to help me manage them

As of this year; I personally am only accepting 25 more clients total, if you’ve ever been curious on how I’m able to help others in their financial journey or you have some extra money coming in that you’d like guidance of what to do with it, don’t hesitate to reach out

I would love to help 25 Nurses and Nurse Practitioners personally this year

For those of you who don’t feel ready and would like the service in the future: No worries, I’ve trained my team to be able to help you but I won’t have the capacity after this 25

Let me know ASAP if you’d like to see what we do!

As for current clients-no worries, I’m doing this so I can spend more time with you!

A lot of people ask why I help nurses and NP’s

It’s simple really.. They’re ALWAYS helping us!

At work they’re under appreciated, under valued AND underpaid and still go to work with a positive mindset and attitude

They do a lot of what most people in the healthcare space don’t want to do and aren’t praised for it, but they should

I want nurses and NP’s to feel valued, seen, and heard

Happy new year to all of you healthcare professionals and thanks for what you do!!

Emergency funds: How much do you need? Why?

I recommend everyone needs about 3 months of expenses for their emergency funds. The reason why? Because if anything happens, then usually somebody could get into a better position, find a new job, or back on their feet within 3 months. The reason why this is the case is also because the biggest emergency people have is losing their job. Most "guru’s" may tell you another number, like 6 months or 12 months but I have found that to be unnecessary. At that point, you have too much money in your savings that isn’t growing efficiently and now you have 30k in your savings doing nothing for you that you may never spend. Once you hit that 3 months, unless you're saving for something specific like a house, start using every dollar to build wealth! It'll be a lot more beneficial for you both short and long term

I think since credit cards existed, the idea for a credit card was generally for people to obtain something they didn’t have in cash.

People used to save up for something before they purchased it, and it seems these days people have the mindset that they’ll “pay it back later”. You might try to pay it back before interest hits and then boom! You all of a sudden forgot to pay it or something else happened in life that either distracted you or took that money you wanted to use on debt.

Then this keeps happening repeatedly and all of a sudden you’re in debt thousands of dollars and owe people money.

I get it… The points or cash back is enticing, the item is shiny (no matter the cost), you feel you’re responsible enough to pay it back, but there is a reason these cards want to give you a card even if it means 0% interest for 18 months

These banks are smart and know how to make money. Do not let banks benefit from our pain just from the simple fact that we tried to purchase something we couldn’t afford

Buy something only if you can pay cash for it twice if you want to really use your credit card, and pay it off IMMEDIATELY not in 3 weeks. There are healthy ways to use them but never let yourself lose wealth just because of a credit card debt. That interest you’re paying costs more than the points you received.
