Thursday took the team to Furkids Animal Rescue & Shelters and Foster Care Support Foundation

The morning was spent at the largest cage-free no-kill shelter in the Southeast. The team walked dogs, socialized puppies, and sat with cats waiting on a home.

Then, some team members visited the Foster Care Support Foundation to sort and stock clothing and toy donations for children in foster care.

Wednesday took our Atlanta team 3 different places.

The morning began at Open Hand Atlanta where we portioned medically tailored meals for neighbors whose health depends on what’s on their plate.

Up in Roswell, another group worked the Unity Garden at Chattahoochee Nature Center which grows over 10,000 pounds of produce a year for people facing food insecurity.

The afternoon looked a little different! At Good Mews Animal Foundation our team helped with shelter tasks and spent time with cats still waiting on a home.

Continuing our annual Week of Outreach with Wonderfully Made, Chastain Horse Park and The Atlanta Food Bank!

Wonderfully Made is a local non-profit serving adults with intellectual disabilities. Our team assisted in the bakery, playing games, and providing community!

Chastain Horse Park offers equine therapy and therapeutic riding to individuals of all ages and abilities through the greater Atlanta area. Our team cleaned stalls and performed outdoor work to keep this valuable space open for our community!

Finally, we made our way to the Atlanta Food Bank where our team sorted food and helped provide over 17,000 meals for families in need around Atlanta.
