COMMISSIONER KING ISSUES THIRD COVID-19 DIRECTIVE
Today’s Directive – the third released so far from the Commissioner’s Office – instructs property and casualty insurers not to cancel any commercial policies for non-payment, particularly those dealing with business interruption or business income coverage, for the next 60 days. It also calls on health insurers to refrain from canceling policies for non-payment until further notice.
The Directive also alerts insurers that the Commissioner’s Office is halting all in-person, onsite exams, audits, and licensing requirements, while temporarily suspending all non-federal filing deadlines and applicable late filing fees until business operations return to normal. Additionally, the Commissioner will offer immediate and expedited review for any insurance products that are critical due to the COVID-19 outbreak and its effects.

It IS the time of year for you to consider these things:
Clean coffee pot with a cup of vinegar and fill rest of pot with water. Rinse twice with water only. Removes the mineral build up that causes fires.

Go to hardware store and get a lint brush. Clean out dryer lint section. Also clean fridge coils. This will prevent fires and save electrical bill.

If you washer or dishwasher is over 5 years with same hoses then consider replacing water hoses. #1 insurance losses are water damage related. And very inconvenient.

Replace batteries in your smoke detectors.

Replace air filter in AC unit.

See you in six months or less with a repeat of this.

Just so you know!

We are no longer located in Jonesboro, Georgia. See new address. We ARE a part of the Rollo Insurance Group with a much larger number of carriers for both personal lines (Auto/HO) and Commercial, Life and Health carriers.

Finally, if you need info in order to make a good decision on Medicare coverage then I will introduce to a Ph.D in the field. She can and will amaze you at what is out there. I have folks who tell me they will never use anyone else.
