Monday nightโs Honors Night was such an amazing experience! ๐โจ
I had the honor of co-presenting the Illustrious Pearls Academic Scholarship through Pearls of Wisdom and Grace Foundation, Inc. in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporatedยฎ, Iota Psi Omega Chapter ๐๐ and the Class of 2026 Scholarship presented by the Cedar Shoals Alumni Association. ๐งก๐
It truly warmed my heart to present my chapterโs scholarship to my godbaby Derriana ๐ฅน๐ โ a Gates Scholar, Top 10 honor graduate, and recipient of MULTIPLE scholarships! I was so excited and had to keep that secret for weeks! ๐คฃ
Shouting out my church nephew DJ ๐๐พ๐ and Shacarah โจ who also received multiple scholarships and will graduate with honors! SO proud of these amazing students!
This year, the Cedar Shoals Alumni Association awarded $10,000 in scholarships โ double what we awarded last year! ๐๐พ God is doing a new thing, and weโre ready for the overflow! โจ
Special shoutout to the parents, families, teachers, coaches, mentors, churches, and villages who helped pour into these students. ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ
