✨ Something’s Blooming at Rooted Wisdom! ✨

Have you noticed a little extra magic outside our doors? We are absolutely over the moon about the new beautification project at our location! 🪴

A massive thank you to Crescent Moon Properties for sharing such wonderful gifts with us. These gorgeous potted plants have completely transformed our entrance and brought so much life to our space. We feel so lucky to have such thoughtful neighbors!

The energy tonight is electric! After an incredible opening, we are heading into the second night of Aladdin Jr., and let us tell you, this cast is taking us on a magic carpet ride we never want to end.

I’m sitting in the back of a packed auditorium right now watching something really special! Aladdin Jr. being performed by the incredible students at Aspire Conservatory.

If you’ve never taken a moment to come out and support one of these productions, I can’t encourage it enough. This is what community looks like, kids showing up, working hard, building confidence, and putting their hearts on stage for us all to enjoy.

If you’re in the tri-state area and looking for something meaningful to do this weekend, there are still two chances to attend:

🎭 Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
🎭 Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Let’s show up for our local children and the programs that are investing so deeply into them. They deserve a full house.

If you’ve seen me out and about lately… there’s a reason for that.

The last couple months haven’t just been “busy” they’ve been full in the best way. Chamber events, Rotary for lunch, Tuesday mornings at Kiwanis, BNI Wednesdays, quick conversations that turn into longer ones, running into familiar faces and meeting new ones.

This is honestly one of my favorite parts of what I do!

Because this business was never meant to live behind a desk or just on paper. It happens in real life. In conversations, in community, in understanding what people actually have going on before they ever need to make a claim or a big decision.

And the truth is, most people don’t wake up thinking about life insurance or paycheck protection. They’re thinking about their kids, their bills, their plans, their businesses… their everyday life.

So that’s where I try to meet people, right in the middle of it.

Not to sell them something, but to understand what matters to them and be a resource when the timing is right.

That’s why I keep showing up.

If we’ve connected at something recently, I’m really glad we did. And if not, I’m sure we’ll cross paths soon.

🌳 What “Rooted Wisdom” really means...

Rooted Wisdom wasn't the theme from our ribbon cutting....it’s the name of the building we now call home.

And that was intentional.

This space was created to bring together businesses that believe in doing things the right way. Serving people, educating first, and building something that actually lasts. It’s home to Bookhamer Life & Legacy Partners, with room to grow alongside other like-minded businesses who share that same mindset.

Because “Rooted Wisdom” isn’t about quick decisions or surface-level fixes. It’s about having a foundation in place that holds when life gets unpredictable.

And if I’m being honest… that’s where I see the biggest need in our community.

People are working hard. Taking care of their families. Doing everything they’re supposed to do.

But when something unexpected happens, an illness, an injury, a loss of income, that’s when the gaps show up.

Not because people didn’t care… but because no one ever slowed it down and made it make sense.

That’s where my day-to-day work comes in.
I sit with individuals, families, and business owners and walk through the “what ifs” most people avoid, so when life doesn’t go as planned, there’s a plan in place that actually works.

Because at the end of the day,

👉 I help protect income and families when life doesn’t go as planned.

That’s what Rooted Wisdom stands for.

And I’m proud to build that here, every day.

Looking back at our ribbon cutting, the thing that really sticks with me isn’t the ribbon or the setup...it’s who showed up!

It wasn’t just a business event. It was people I’ve gotten to know through different parts of life and work. Clients who trusted me. Fellow small business owners who are building right alongside me. And people from organizations like the Chamber, Kiwanis, and BNI who genuinely show up for each other in this community.

Seeing all of that right here, opening night, honestly meant a lot! It’s one of those moments that reminds me this didn’t get built alone, and progress is built on relationships right here at home. ❤️

I’m really grateful for everyone who came out, talked, laughed, and made the night what it was.

I’ll be sharing a few more moments and faces from that night over the next couple of weeks.

So… we need to back up for a second!

On February 13th, we officially held the ribbon cutting for Rooted Wisdom, a Bookhamer Life and Legacy Partners enterprise.

And I was ready for it! I prepped, I posted leading up to it… and then life kept moving, business kept building, and I never came back here to close that loop.

That ribbon cutting wasn’t just an event. It marked a real step forward, for my family, for this business, and for what I’m building in this community.

You may also notice my profile picture says Rooted Wisdom! That’s more than the space I’m working out of now. It represents our long-term vision; to provide our Tri-State with financial literacy education for all ages, to educate our local businesses and families about their benefits, and to close the gaps between insurance jargon and everyday life. Inside that space, my work is still centered around what I do every day through Bookhamer Life and Legacy Partners, helping people protect their income, their families, and the life they’re working so hard to build.

Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to start catching this page up, sharing photos, moments, and pieces of what’s been happening behind the scenes since that day.

Because there’s been a lot.

And it’s time I actually share it.
