🫱🏻‍🫲🏽 Our President & CEO, Jake Charnock, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of The Bankers Bank. If you've spent any time around Jake, this probably doesn't come as a surprise. He cares deeply about people, believes in the the power of community banking, and leads with the kind of integrity that earns trust long before it earns recognition.
What makes this appointment special isn't the title. It's knowing that someone who understands our communities, our customers, and the importance of local banking will have a voice at the table, helping shape the future of community banking.
Jake would probably be the last person to make a big deal out of this accomplishment, but we think it's worth celebrating. Congratulations, Jake. We're proud to call you our leader.

⛳ Our loan team took a field trip to Topgolf for a day of team building, relationship development, and what some would call golf. While a few team members looked ready for the PGA TOUR, the rest of us were just trying to make solid contact with the ball. There may have been some impressive drives, a few accidental trick shots, and at least one person who discovered that banking and golf require two very different skill sets.
🫱🏻‍🫲🏽 In all seriousness, days like this matter. When you spend your days working through loan requests, helping customers reach their goals, and serving our communities, it's important to occasionally step away from the office and invest in the people beside you. The conversations, laughter, and friendly competition reminded us that strong teams are built on more than just work... they're built on relationships.
We're grateful for a team that works hard, supports one another, and can laugh at themselves when their golf ball decides to visit the bay next door.
